Short Dialogue Clip
So I had to do a short dialogue animation for class, and here's what I ended up with. Not bad, I think the movement works, though I think I should go back and do some correction on the size of the eyes and the distance between them.
But YAY! I animated someone speaking! The first time I attempted it was in my video with the boy who's hair grew way too long...it was all so stiff because I was so afraid to animate a speaking person back then.

Babysitting
This is all work that I did for a previous project from last semester, Babysitting. It started out as an older brother, Arik, having to babysit his brother, Abel. In the end, it was about an older brother ignoring the younger in favor of a video game, while the younger tries to have a turn.
It was hard work getting Jojo to this point, Oscar, the director wanted a certain look for Jojo and he wanted to design her. However, I didn't think that the face he designed was right. The second to last photo was where I drew over his design so that we kept all the proportions he wanted, but I designed the face. The last photo was drawn by Oscar, where he tried to see how it worked for him. Evidently, he liked my design, because it's the one we decided to stick with. And so, Jojo became a group effort to finalize.
Dirpy Bird
Finally, it was decided the Dirpy Bird, would be the dirpy alien. I only made this design for him before I decided I would concentrate on Jojo's design.
Dirpy Bird Boy Character Design
There was a point in the Dirpy Bird story where the Dirpy Bird was a dirpy cat. A cat which was once a boy from the 20's. These were my designs for him before he was written out.
Early Dirpy Bird Character Design
Back when Dirpy Bird was still about a bird...Lol. This was my design for him. He's just so...brain-dead!
Derpy Bird Early Jojo Character Designs
These are the early designs that I made for Jojo, the main character in my senior class film Derpy Bird.
